The Mediware Quark Pack is processed to have a shelf-life of 12 months and can be stored in the home. A quark pack can be used immediately: Simply open the pack, place in cold water until the water is absorbed, gently massage to form a smooth mass and then apply the pack where needed.

Once the treatment is finished simply dispose with normal household refuse.

Details:

Low-fat quark contains protein (min. 49 %), fat and water. Placed directly onto the skin, quark prevents infection as the natural lactic acid opens the pores and promotes blood circulation. The acid transports the infectious elements out of the tissues into the protein matrix. This means that these elements combine with the quark. Through cooling, the healing process begins and the pack relieves pain, relaxes, reduces infection, absorbs heat and reduces fever. Also pleasant on the skin.

Preparation:

Remove the quark pack from the package and place in cold water. The quark pack can be cut to the size required prior to immersing in water. Massage each quark chamber under running water until a smooth mass forms. Gently squeeze excess water out of the pack until the right consistency has been reached. Lay the compress on the area to be treated for ca. 30 minutes. Remove the pack from treated area and wipe away any remnants with a cloth. The pack can be disposed with normal household refuse. The cooling effect can be increased if the prepared pack is refrigerated ca. 30 minutes prior to use. This provides a longer lasting cooling effect and reduces pain.
